RACE NOTICE

This is to inform you of the upcoming 16th Annual Spring Regatta at Epping Forest Yacht Club Saturday, March 22, 2003 open to all PHRF Card  holders.  PHRF classes will be split into spinnaker and non-spinnaker then further divided if participation requires.  PHRF Cruising will be a separate class.

REGISTRATION

Registration will close at 1800 hrs. on Friday, March 21st, 2003. All entrants are encouraged to pre-register using the accompanying entry form.  Please return the completed form along with a $25.00 entry fee payable to Epping Forest Yacht Club at the below address: 

Entry fee includes:

1 ticket to the cookout at the Mariner’s Deck starting at 1700 hrs. on Friday. Additional tickets are available at $10.00 each.

1 free regatta T-shirt (U.S. Sailing Members only).  Additional shirts are available for purchase at $10.00 each.

Complimentary soda, beer, hors d’oeuvres and awards presentation to commence in the gardens at 1700 hrs. on March 22nd.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday March 21, 2003

     All Day - Entrants are cordially invited to bring their boats to the Marina.

     Contact - Skip Canfield, Harbormaster for docking information.

     1700 hrs. - Cookout, soda & beer at the Mariner’s Deck.

     1800 hrs. - Registration ends                        

Saturday, March 22, 2003

     1000 hrs. - Coffee & donuts - Marina Landing

     1100 hrs. - Skipper’s meeting - Harbormaster’s office

     1200 hrs. - Start                                          

     1700 hrs.-  Awards presentation with complimentary beer, soda & hors d’oeuvres in the Lower Gardens.

The Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of

The United States Sailing Association, PHRF, except as any are altered by the Sailing

Instructions.
